What is Plant a Row for the Hungry?

Launched in 1995, Plant A Row for the Hungry is a people-helping-people program,
that encourages gardeners to grow a little extra and donate the produce to there local soup kitchens,
and food pantries serving the homeless and hungry in their local communities.

As an Individual, You Can Make a Difference!

* Plant a couple of extra rows of vegetables, fruit, herbs or flowers.

* Then deliver the harvest to your local food agency near you.

* And then talk to your neighbor about doing the same thing,
and then have them talk to there neighbor about doing the same thing.

Then See What Happens!

Pardon Our Dust – Website Under New Construction & Upgrades

  • Just a quick administrative note – we are in the midst of adding and changing some of the content on our site and making upgrades to our system for the 2012 Market Season, and so over the next few weeks the “Market” site will be shut down, and disabled. Our team will be working hard to get the new site up and running. We will keep you informed of our progress, and hopefully it’ll all be over soon, and you might even notice some improvements. Our “Target Date” for reopening is Feb.17th, 2012, and hopefully we may even be ready to reopen sooner. See you in 2012, and Thanks for your continued support of the Ozark Locally Grown Market.

Have a Happy & Safe New Year!
